1. Who is responsible
Claudia Dellenbach
Living with Amara Luz
Jupiterstrasse 5
3015 Bern, Switzerland
Email: hello@livingwithamaraluz.com
If you have a question about your data, write to this address.
2. What data I collect when you visit this website
When you open the website, the hosting provider's server automatically records technical data in log files. This includes your IP address, date and time, the page you opened, your browser type and your operating system. This is necessary to show you the website, keep it secure and fix errors. I do not use this data to identify you personally.
Hosting: The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (San Francisco, USA). Vercel processes the log data on my behalf. Servers may be located outside Switzerland and the EU. Where this is the case, the provider uses recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Domain and email: The domain livingwithamaraluz.com and the email address hello@livingwithamaraluz.com are provided by Hostinger International Ltd. (Nicosia, Cyprus).
3. Cookies, analytics and tracking
This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels or analytics tools. It also does not load fonts or scripts from third-party servers. Fonts are stored on the website's own server. The booking page on Calendly is a separate website (see section 5).
4. Contacting me
If you write to me by email, I receive your email address and the content of your message. The email service is provided by Hostinger. I use this data only to answer your request and to arrange a possible discovery call. I keep it as long as needed for that purpose and for legal retention duties. Email is not encrypted by default. Please do not send sensitive information by email.
5. Booking a discovery call (Calendly)
The "Book a discovery call" buttons open my booking page on Calendly, an external scheduling service provided by Calendly, LLC (USA). The buttons are normal links: no data is sent to Calendly until you click one. The booking page then opens on Calendly's website in a new tab.
If you book a call, Calendly processes the details you enter in the booking form, such as your name, your email address and any information you choose to add, together with the date and time you select. I receive these booking details and use them only to prepare and hold the call and for any follow-up you ask for.
Calendly may process your data in the USA. According to its Privacy Notice, Calendly, LLC participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Calendly's own Privacy Notice applies to its booking pages and explains which further data it collects, for example through cookies: Calendly Privacy Notice.
If you prefer not to use Calendly, write to me at hello@livingwithamaraluz.com and we will find a time by email.
6. Links to other platforms
This website also links to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and the website of my practice project "LovePath by Maria". The links are normal links. No data is sent to these platforms until you click on them. After you click, the provider's own privacy policy applies:
- Instagram and Facebook (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.)
- LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company)
- YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.)
7. Why I process your data (legal basis)
I process your data to provide and secure the website, to answer your requests and to prepare a contract with you. Where required, I rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. For visitors from the EU, the legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR (and (a) where you have given consent).
8. How long I keep data
Server logs are kept only for a short time as set by the hosting provider. Emails and booking data are kept as long as needed for the contact and for legal duties, then deleted.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to processing, and to receive your data in a common format. To use these rights, write to hello@livingwithamaraluz.com.
You may also complain to a data protection authority. In Switzerland this is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC). If you are in the EU, you can contact the authority in your country.
10. Changes
I may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The current version is always on this page.
